Katherine started her dance career with Philippine Ballet Theatre, Enrico Labayen's Lab Projekt and Myra Beltran's Dance Forum. Early on she had the inclination to do both classical and contemporary works.

​She then joined Ballet Philippines and as a principal dancer, essayed roles in the company's classical and modern works. Among these are Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Coppelia, and The Nutcracker. Several original works were created on her including Carlo Pacis' Shifting Wait, Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Alden Lugnasin's Pusong Wagas and Bungangsakit. She also served as Associate Artistic Director of Ballet Philippines from April-July of 2017.  

After her retirement from the stage, Katherine moved on to studying and learning more about the body and is currently a certified instructor of both the Pilates Academy International and of the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet (Pre-Primary to Senior Level 1).​

Katherine joined the Elevate Team as a full-time instructor in April 2019.
